2023 is a Chariot Year!

Each year corresponds to a different card in the Major Arcana of a tarot deck. The Major Arcana, from the Fool card to the World card, represents a series of archetypes that we can tap into and use as guides – and also as writing prompts! – as we contemplate the various journeys and paths we take throughout our lives.

To calculate which tarot card corresponds to each year, we add up the digits of that year. So, 2023 is 2+0+2+3 = 7. The seventh card in the Major Arcana is the Chariot card, which makes the Chariot our card and archetype for 2023.
